    Iron Buddha (Tieguanyin)

    铁观音乌龙茶

Known throughout Asia as Tie Guan Yin, this tea is commonly translated as Iron Buddha. The name relates to the mythical origins of the Tie Guan Yin cultivar, which is said to have been discovered by a peasant farmer in China's Anxi County. He was guided in a dream by the Buddhist icon Guan Yin, the revered Bodhisattva of compassion. Our gratifying, lightly oxidised Iron Buddha yields an infusion that is gently tart, yet light and floral, bright and refreshing. Explore the differences between Iron Buddha and Traditional Iron Buddha tea.

      Amazing Oolong tea

My favorite JING and oolong tea.
The flavor is there from the start and deepens with every brew. My highlights are: the buttery feel, gentle grassy taste and the absolute best is the aftertaste of peach and vanilla that lingers in your mouth.

      A meditative tea

I have ordered this tea a few times and enjoy it more and more each time. It has a great balance. So, the floral slightly mineral elements are balanced by a spring-like mossy freshness. It has wonderful acidity and almost no bitterness to jar the palate. I re-infused twice sometimes three times and still get pleasure from each sip. It is my perfect book tea as it is warming and refreshing and very calming.
