Organic Yunnan Breakfast

Malty, Plum, Ginger From Yongde Garden, Yunnan China Crafted by Tea Maker Yang Dong

It's rare to find a breakfast style tea from an organic single garden, but tea maker Yang Jian produces something very special high up in Yunnan's lush, subtropical mountains. It perfectly combines the comfort and satisfaction of a rich black tea, with distinctive notes of honeyed malt, ripe berries, sweet spice and a standout milk chocolate finish.

Organic Yunnan Breakfast

云南滇红茶

Unlike many breakfast teas blended for uniformity, this organic breakfast tea encapsulates the character of its origin and maker. It's a tea crafted for quality and flavour rather than quantity. Deep in the subtropical lush mountains of Yunnan, the large leafed Assamica varietal of tea bush grows abundantly in Yongde Garden garden. From these bushes, tea maker Yang Dong coaxes out flavours of malt, ripe plum and hints of sweet spice. Enjoy with or without milk but know that a splash of milk emphasises the standout comforting chocolate finish.

    Delicious Breakfast Tea

Ordered a few breakfast teas from Jing and like this one the best. They're all excellent, but this has a well-rounded flavour.

    Lovely and elegant

I love this tea. I've bought it several times now and will continue to do so. It's got a really lovely and elegant flavour - letting it steep for a few minutes really brings that out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

    Satisfying mouthfeel

Lovely tea for a colder morning, smooth, rounded taste with a silky mouthfeel if using a dash of milk. Just the right balance of flavour.

    Best Tea Ever

I absolutely love this tea, it is the best I have ever tasted. I was introduced to the Breakfast Tea, both loose leaf and tea bags at Gail’s Cafe Guildford, and now it is the only tea I buy for myself at home. It leaves me feeling so good, it is nourishing and satisfying! There is a real depth of flavour to Jing teas. And I love the silky feel of the tea bags.
