Whole Rosebuds

Roses have been a powerful symbol ever since they were first cultivated. Flourishing in the hot days and cold nights of the desert in ancient Persia, our rose tea is grown in what is now Iran. The delicate buds are picked in the morning, out of the direct sunlight and during a low breeze. This locks in their beautiful fragrance before they are slow-dried to retain their sweet floral flavour. Clean, refreshing and soft, with a leafy vegetal note that cuts through the fragrance – they're nothing like the sweet rosewater you might know from cooking. Did you know, ‘rose tisane’ is a preferable term to ‘rose tea’, as tea is an infusion of leaves only from the Camellia sinensis.

    Perfect evening drink.

Delicious! Such a refreshing, relaxing drink. We find we can use one bud per cup and get a second infusion. Will definitely be keeping a good supply of these in the cupboard.

    Rosebud

These rosebuds make a really lovely cuppa. They aren't cheap but you only need a small amount so aren't as expensive as they first appear. Would definitely recommend trying them.

    Delightful floral tea

I am delighted to have found these organic rosebuds. They made the most delicate floral tasting tea. Mild and very slightly sweet. I can drink a whole pot to myself in an evening. Organic, caffeine free, healthy and hydrating. It is win win all round.

    Love it!

Drank this brew for the first time at the Lowry Hotel and I couldn't get enough of it. The waiter told me the make was Jing (I wrote the name down on a napkin) and I ordered my first bag of Rosebud tea. It is so subtle, so delicate, so fragrant, so delicious! im now venturing out into the world of Jing tea and ordered some new flavours, but the Rosebud tea is a firm favourite.

    Love softly

The fragrant dimension overwhelmed me when I opened the pack. The taste of the rose buds is pure and clean. Very soothing. Well processed too - there is no residue: not only in the cup but also in my throat. Much better than other rose buds I have had.

Tastes as good as it looks!

These rosebuds make a fantastic, delicate tea with just the right balance of flavours. They also look beautiful, so it's well worth serving in a glass teapot to allow you to enjoy the visual aesthetic as well as the taste!

    Divinely light tea

The aroma rushes up to meet you when you add water: beautiful floral sweetness. Followed up by a light, refreshing taste from a gently coloured brew. I can get two or three cups out of just four rosebuds if I rebrew. Perfect.

    Fragrant and comforting

A real pleasure to drink. Like being in a wonderful rose garden. Fragrance is quite heady. Only thing though the label says product of Iran not China. However since both countries are the capitals of the world it is of no great matter.

    My bestfriend of a tea

JING Tea's rosebud tea is extremely fragrant and a great tea to have around when you need a comforting, relaxing drink. The rosebuds, a deep purply red with blue undertones, are of top quality and also very pleasing to the eye. When brewed, its aroma is instantly calming. Very light to the taste but refreshingly so. A great afternoon tea or one for after a hard day's work. Highly recommend this to women especially for a bit of relief during that time of the month.
