Sichuan Dew

四川绿茶

As one of the first places where tea was cultivated, Sichuan is an ancient seat of tea culture in China. This hand-picked green tea from the humid central plains is traditionally steamed rather than pan-fired. While steaming is commonly associated with Japanese green teas, the ancient process actually originated in Sichuan. The authentic character of this famed region can be found in our Sichuan Dew: a clean, refreshing green tea with a grassy sweetness and vegetal umami notes.

    Pleasant and refreshing

I found this tea pleasant and refreshing, even on a hot day, not even a hint of bitterness. Slight grassy notes, which reminded me of fresh cut grass on a Spring or Summers day. This has become my new favourite tea.

Knew this must be out there

When prepared using a glass strainer it does not clog upon the second or third steeping like other teas. Don't know why this is, maybe because steamed? Wonderful tea, sturdy but not harsh. Thanks, Jing staff for scouting it out.

Subtle green tea perfect for every day drinking

I recently tried this tea by curiosity but it became one of my favorite green tea for every day drinking! Subtle with a lot of flavors but not bitter or astringent. Exactly as I like green tea. This tea is steamed like japanese tea, but it does not have the classical japanese iodic taste that I am not really found of.Last but not least, it is more affordable for every day drinking than other green teas.

A lovely refreshing tea with subtle aromas

This tea is now my everyday favourite. It is light yet full of subtle flavours. I have even tried it cold and it is great as well. I like the fact that it is not roasted as I love Japanese green teas for that reason.I will buy it again
