    Nice tea

Being a massive tea lover I must have tried good few dozens of different type of teas over the years. I wanted to try something new and organic to spice up the life in the constant stream of lockdowns. So I bought this tea based on review. Yes, it is nice clean tea, but can't say it is special in my opinion. I'm not sure it warranties the special price tag it carries. There are plenty of other teas just as good as this one for he half of the price, if not less.

Thank you for your review, we are sorry to read you did not enjoy Baojing Gold as much as we’d have hoped. Depending on personal taste preferences, tea lovers can appreciate Baojing Gold differently. A couple of things to note - we always recommend using 70 degrees water, no hotter; and you could also try a longer than 3 minute infusion if you’d like a little more strength of flavour, without adding any bitterness.

Tom, our head of tea commented that when he sourced this tea, what made the Baojing Gold stand out above other spring green teas was the soft full texture and milky aromas - which might be a little unexpected from a green tea.

In wintry months more robust green teas can often be more satisfying, at this time of year, we’d recommend trying green teas such as Sencha or Dragon Well.
