Cooked Puerh Mini Cakes
普洱迷你熟茶饼
Pressed exclusively for JING, these cooked puerh mini cakes come from Donghzai garden in Yunnan province, China. The tea leaves were picked in Autumn 2018 and processed using the 'wo dui' (wet piling) fermentation method; creating the rich flavour of incense woods and tobacco leaf, and a velvety texture unique to this style of tea. The loose tea was then placed into storage for two years to help develop it's complex character, before being individually pressed into the traditional 'tuo' shape in March 2020.

- Handy little PuerhI have been a big fan of puerh for a long time. The big cakes have always been a hassle and after seeing this I was in love.
They are naturally the perfect size for one cup worth of tea and I enjoy the chocolaty, malty taste a lot.
As a warning for any Puerh newcomers: It is a fermented tea and you have to get accustomed to the taste. I would still recommend trying it.
