Chai
A highly aromatic combination of rich and malty Assam black tea from India with cinnamon, cardamom and ginger spices.
Chai
Inspired by Masala Chai we’ve enjoyed on the streets of Kolkata, we've created a Chai with uncompromising ingredients. We've selected a base of pure, single origin black tea from Assam, India – tea that's renowned for its rich, malty flavour. We've matched the strength and flavour of the tea with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger spices for a sweet and highly aromatic infusion. For the richest Chai experience, try it with plenty of warm milk.

- Good chaiI've never been the biggest chai fan but this is a great option - especially if you're trying to give up coffee. It tastes really good and the smell is inviting
- Best chai tea!The best chai tea I've found! So flavoursome!
- Best Chai TeaAdmittedly I was reluctant to try as I’ve never been a fan of Chai tea.
I’m soo glad I did. I loved it! Very tasty! - Near perfect pre mixed ChaiI bought this having a lot of faith in Jing for their other superb teas and I was not disappointed. I love to pour quite a bit of Milk into the Chai that has been steeping for a second longer for an extra kick but it is really good without the milk, too.
There is a last thing, that I can't quite point out though, that is missing. Maybe it is the vanilla that I normally enjoy in my Chai but it is very close. - Wonderful tea.Love this tea. Refreshing and no milk or sugar required although i have a drop of warm milk in my cuppa! The service is exemplary. Thank you.
- Hot and spicy.Perfect morning pick-me-up. Warming and rewarding.
- New favouriteThis incredible, gently spicy but oh so warming tea got me through the winter! Its now Spring and I can't seem to stop drinking it...
- DisappointingFell in love with the perfect chai but they have changed the recipe and now it’s unrecognisable. The tea overpowers the delicate flavours of the spices. Won’t be buying again.
Thank you for your feedback. We developed our new Chai recipe to more accurately reflect how Chai is drunk in it’s true home; specifically taking inspiration from the streets of Kolkata, where a strong base black tea is used with aromatic spices, and drunk with milk. We’ve selected a base of single origin black tea from Assam – to deliver this strength, and matched the tea with individually sourced spices – maximising the quality of each (many Chai teas are made with a blend of spices). You can read more in our Deep Dive on our new Chai (https://jingtea.com/journal/deep-dive-into-chai/). We’d be happy to recommend some lighter black teas in our range for you, to be drunk without milk, get in touch and we can arrange a personalised 121 tasting for you.
JING Tea - Deliciously juicyLike Christmas in a cup. Deliciously spiced and juicy. On my fourth bag!
- Perfect chaiI received my chai tea this morning and wanted to leave a review straight away as it is absolutely delicious. I added warm oat milk and it is the perfect blend of warming spices with the malty Assam tea. I usually make my own chai tea, boiling it from scratch as haven’t found a blend that I really like. Not any more. Thank you Jing.
- OMGWhat can I say... still mid first cup and it's already my favourite UK masala chai.
Assam breakfast is a favourite black tea with a good strong taste, so that's a good start. Add that to the omission of cloves which always make everything taste like cough candy sweets and you're really on to a winner.
Jing, please don't ever stop producing this! - FabulousI first had this tea in a local cafe and loved it. The owner, very kindly, told me where to purchase it. I bought the tea and a mug infuser which is lovely and classy. I shall be a returning customer and may try other flavours but this Chai is my absolutely favourite. Thank you for a great service.
- True to its nameI am a Chai tea fanatic. This tea wins hands down. The flavour is full and aromatic. I take time to enjoy this tea with a dash of milk and honey. An extravagant favourite of mine.
- DeliciousExcellent and brilliant tea blend
- DeliciousThis tea was a great addition to my growing collection! Sweet and spicy, perfect for all times of day. If youre looking for a chai that is enjoyable without milk, don't make the mistake I did by going to a supermarket and buying a bagged chai. That kind is fine to drink with milk, but it's not quite the same as the Jing variety, which, unlike supermarket chai, doesnt leave a gritty feeling or bad aftertaste when drank without milk.
